Royal Copenhagen Empire cup, has the initial K, done in painted flowers on
the cup. The saucer has inscription "In remembrance of a good friend 2nd
of October 1785.
So we can date the cup to around that period. Very nice good and extremely
nice flower decoration on the saucer. |

The creamer is produced in 1870, but it not painted until 1850-1860.
The cup and
saucer is produced approximate 1810 and then painted in about 1850. The
items are from a service, where the only other known pieces are at the
Queens residence at Amalienborg. (information is according to Bredo Granjean
January 1973" Very fine detailed painting,
see picture. |
